List Building?
I have a mixed feeling towards list building. Why? Because every single marketer would tell
you that list building is a must and they would go as far as creating stunting websites that basically grab
people's collar and force readers to optin to their mailing lists.
To be honest, who does not want a huge mailing list that create money on demand? However, I
condone people who create webpages that merely focus on getting names.
Search engines prefer content. If you only have one home page and a couple of privacy and
contact pages, how can the search engines know what your pages are all about, thus destroying the purpose of Search
Engine Optimization (SEO).
If you examine wealthyhub.com, you can see that I provide a lot of content on this website, even if
you do not optin. I want to provide you with much information as possible so that you know my philosophy of
online marketing.
Back to list building, it's true that you need to have some methods to contact your readers/
potential customers. Having an autoresponder service is inevitable.
For that matter, you want to read a separate website of mine which discusses a lot email marketing best practices. I also discuss how you should
pick your autoresponder service.
My recommendation on list building is simple:
Create value content that people would like to read and keep
up-to-date with the information that you intend to provide in the future.
The following email autoresponder services, which I use myself: Aweber
