Objectives:
- Relationship building/ List Building with your readers
- Signing up on a newsletter
==================================================
There is a famous saying in the internet marketing circle. The money is
in the list. It's a common belief, that if you have 10,000 people on your list, you will
be able to generate enough income and "live off the net".
Therefore, it's imperative that we understand how to make a list - preferably a
profitable one, right from the start.
So, what is a valuable list?
Firstly, we must realize the target audience should be able to spend at least some money.
Otherwise, they won't be able to purchase anything from you even if they are your interested readers/
subscribers. Although some people may argue that, if you have a highly trafficed website, you can earn money
via adsense or other monetarization method. However, if you intend to build a valuable list, you should at
least realize that your readers should be able to spend at least some money with you.
Secondly, your subscriber should at least have some rapport with you. By that I meant,
they should be eager to learn from you by signing up to your list. Again, you must have the "Content"
to show for. Otherwise, your message via your autoresponder won't work.
Thirdly, it's important that you realize the motivation of the people who've signed up on
your list. A person who signs up a money-making list has a different mindset from someone who signs up a
"work-from-home" list, although they are similiar in certain aspects.
If those people are paid customers, they are more valuable than the ones who randomly sign
up your list for freebies.
If you package your list as as "online newsletter", giving you an "excuse" to stay in touch
with your subscribers once or twice per month, then the opportunity of you getting more value from your
customers is higher.
----Sidenote---- A newsletter is nothing more than a regular touch-base with your readers, to get your
readers up to speed of what they are interested. Perhaps, it's about
how to take better care of their dog, or how to improve their social skills

Fourthly, subscribers can be paid or free, depending on how you acquired them.
There must be a reason for people to stay in touch with you. People are not interested in your
love life, unless you are a celebrity or your newsletter is about how to build up a
relationship.
Even if your newsletter is about relationship, subscribers are interested not in your love
life, but rather, how they can use your experience to use it for their own. It's always
about them – remember what you can do for them.
When it comes to copywriting and publishing a newsletter, I suggest you just write your
newsletter from your heart and go from there, put through a few recommendation from your newsletter and build
up the relationship. Listen to your readers and see what they want to hear from you.
If there is one thing that you need besides a website, it would be an
autoresponder. You need a reliable one. If you want more lessons on how to publish your
newsletter or how to pick an autoresponder. Please check out my sister site:
