If you are a total newbie, I suggest you try out wordpress or xsitepro.
The Pro and Cons of each option:
Wordpress Wordpress is a very popular CMS suite, whereby a lot of
internet marketers would recommend. However, it does require some technical skills in order to install
it.
Pros: - Free
- Easy to install
- A lot of plugins to make your site Search Engine Friendly
Cons: - You need to have some coding knowledge in order to maintain
the look & feel of wordpress. Otherwise, you can search for many existing (free) template to use.
Xsitepro
Pros: A very popular site management tool. It's easy to use.
You need domain name and hosting package.
Cons: - It's not free (it costs about $200)
- it does not have web2.0 capibility; users cannot leave comments on your site.
